Where Spirit meets breath. Where ancient Word meets embodied soul.
Why this breath matters
Breath is more than survival. Breath is sacred. In Scripture breath and Spirit are intertwined: breath as life, as Spirit, as connection to the Divine.
Pneumedelic Breathwork invites you to reclaim breath as holy ground: a portal to your interior, a meeting place of body and Spirit, a way to return home to your soul.

What Pneumedelic Breathwork is
Pneumedelic Breathwork blends:
- A contemplative reading of sacred text following the ancient rhythm of Lectio Divina: reading, meditating, letting the Word dwell in you not just as idea, but as presence.
- Deep, intentional breathwork inspired by the lineage of Holotropic Breathwork: rhythmic, connected breathing often accompanied by evocative music, to open inner doors and release what needs release.
In this mixing (Spirit‑Word and body‑breath) we do not chase transcendence for its own sake. We breathe toward presence. Toward honesty. Toward deep encounter with what is alive, wounded, longing in us.
What a session looks like
A typical monthly Pneumedelic gathering flows something like this:
- Welcome & Intention Setting: We open with sharing what has brought us here, what burdens or longings we hold, seeking safety and presence.
- Sacred Reading (Lectio): A chosen passage is read slowly, attentively, perhaps multiple times. We listen. We feel. We let the Word sink in.
- Meditation (Meditatio): We lie down in silence, letting the Word and our breath meet. We sense what arises. What wants to surface. What wants to rest.
- Breathwork (Oratio — the prayer of breath): Guided rhythmic breath, often with music, allowing body, heart, memory, and Spirit to speak. This breath is prayer. This breath is honest presence.
- Integration (Contemplatio & Sharing): Gentle time to reflect, journal, and (for those who want) share what came up. We close in shared silence or prayer.
What emerges might be emotional release, grief, grief‑held‑in-body, grief seeking release; or longing, Dream, memory, ache for meaning. Whatever surfaces, you are received: by yourself, by circle, by Spirit.
When we gather
We hold Pneumedelic Breathwork once a month, not as quick fix, but as a rhythm of soul care.
This is a threshold gathering, not casual, but serious. Not shallow, but sacred.
