This opening module dismantles the “time heals all wounds” myth and offers a more humane reframe: grief changes through time plus tending, with care, witness, meaning-making, and simple practices. You’ll begin building grief literacy and learn a first gentle ritual to help you step into life-after with honesty and support.
Module 2 - The Body. Why grief doesn't metabolize without capacity and support.
Grief isn’t just emotional. It is physiological. In this module you’ll learn, in plain language, how grief interacts with the nervous system and why it can feel stuck through avoidance, overwhelm, isolation, or suppression. You’ll practice grounding and titration tools you can return to anytime, so you can meet grief with more capacity instead of bracing or shutting down.
Module 3 - The community problem. Why other cultures had more help.
This module explores what many of us never received: communal grief containers. You’ll look at how modern Western culture privatizes and rushes grief, and why ritual and witness matter. You’ll map your witness circle, learn small scripts for asking for support without shame, and experiment with simple, non-performative ways to let grief be seen.
Module 4 - Build your grief tending practice (so time can do its work)
The closing module helps you turn insight into a sustainable plan. You’ll build a personal grief-tending practice stack with daily, weekly, and wave-day support that fits your real life, combining private practices with relational support. You’ll leave with a clear next-step rhythm for ongoing care, so grief doesn’t have to be carried alone or in silence.
